Olympic Super Center is part of the Olympic Auto Group, with over 30 dealerships, across Canada and the US, and more than 750 team members strong. We are looking for a marine technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic equipment, testing equipment, and hand and power tools associated with marine engine and equipment repair.
• Diagnose problems to determine repair requirements or adjustments on marine engines, outboards, propellers, drive units, navigational equipment, etc.
• Perform major and specialized mechanical overhaul and repair work on several models of marine engines Inspect, repair and maintain boat engines and power systems (diesel engines, outboards).
• Repair and maintain plumbing, hydraulic equipment and valves.
• Establish and maintain a preventive maintenance program for marine engines and related equipment.
• Liaise with team members to ensure priorities are clear, service orders are accurate and part orders and supplies are properly invoiced.

Qualification and Education:

• Experiences in the marine industry
• Journey person marine mechanic with current certification
• Certificate or diploma in related field e.g. diesel marine repair
• Strong team player with good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills and a proven ability to contribute to a positive and cohesive team environment
• A self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
